Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic team in Arizona. Responsibilities

  • Full cycle AP Processing to ensure efficient and accurate management of accounts payable.
  • Ensure invoices are paid timely, in accordance with vendor payment terms.
  • Maintain annual vendor payment files to support financial accuracy and organization.
  • Track refundable deposits and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding amounts.
  • Work directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
  • Reconcile and follow up on monthly vendor statements to ensure all accounts are current.
  • Prepare year-end 1099 reports to comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on high volume processing.
  • Knowledge of ERP accounting software is preferred to enhance process efficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective vendor and team interaction.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability Monday through Friday, onsite in North Scottsdale, Arizona.
